INDEPENDENT English Course Bogor welcome new students to join regular and private classes in February 2011.

We have some programmes for Children, Teenagers, and Adults and Young Adults. With 2-8 students in the classroom, students are given a lot of chances to express themselves. Lessons are never boring as students are free to take part in any activities. Songs, games, quizzes, and other extra activities are favourite for students. You can join regular classes or private classes; choose the one that you think is suitable for you.

For company employees and managers, you can have your own class at your office. We will send our best teachers to serve you to master English. We have got experiences to teach company employees, managers and their staff in Bogor. We also have experiences to help professionals from private companies and government offices.

If you think you need to improve your English, call us at (0251) 2298154.

PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

Many people think that mastering GRAMMAR will guarantee them to be able to communicate in English well. Students and teachers at INDEPENDENT English Course Bogor do not think so. We believe that the most important in learning and mastering English is PRACTICE.

PRACTICE means: using English consistently without fear. Fear of what? Fear of making mistakes... grammatical mistakes.
PRACTICE means: speaking, writing, listening and reading continuously.

Does it mean that GRAMMAR is not important? The answer is: GRAMMAR is also important, but not the most important.

When you speak BAHASA INDONESIA, do you also think about Kalimat Majemuk? Kalimat majemuk setara? Kalimat majemuk rapatan? Kalimat sederhana? Kata dasar? Kata benda? We believe the answer is NO.

So, why do you feel that you have to be afraid of making mistakes when speaking English? DON'T BE AFRAID OF MAKING MISTAKES...

Mastering English for communications does not mean mastering all words and phrases in English.
Do you need a comparison?
How many Indonesian words do you master?
Do you understand the meaning of these Indonesian words: antan? petahana? sangkil? mangkus? sahih?
They are Indonesian words, but most of us do not understand them.
Let alone English words....
However, it does not mean that we can't communicate in Indonesian, does it? We still can communicate in bahasa Indonesia although we do not master Indonesian words and vocabularies...

So, practising English and mastering this language do not require you to be able to understand all words, phrases, vocabularies, grammar, structures etc. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU KNOW THOSE WORDS...

Practise now and make yourself PERFECT...

ACTIVITIES IN NOVEMBER 2010

Time has been running quickly... It is November now, even it's been the fourth week of the month. There have been some activities done at Independent English Course Bogor.

The intensive English training programme at United Tractors School Jakarta for batch III finally finished on Friday 19 November. On the last two days, the students presented their prepared papers in front of the audience which includes students, English teachers and even UT lecturers. The students looked eager as well as anxious but the paper presentation could finally run well.

In November 2010 Independent students explores MODESTY (some others say simplicity) as one of the 12 living values that needs to be learnt and applied. To live in modesty has a lot of aspects such as honesty, accountability, generousity, self-acceptance and so on.

This month some new students join Independent. Some of them come from another English course in Bogor... They decided to move to Independent as their old English course is going to be closed. Independent's management, staff and other students welcome them. We hope that the new students will enjoy their study here.
