THE REASONS WHY YOU STUDY ENGLISH IN AN ENGLISH COURSE

"Why do we take an English course?"
Students at an English course have different reasons why they choose one English course instead of another. At least there are three reasons.

First, they consider the English course quality. It is very difficult actually to see the quality of an English course. Most students rely on the information from other people. When they find that an English course is attended by many students, they conclude that this course has good quality. It is not always true actually, but that what many students think about a quality English course.

Second, students consider the course fee. They choose the English course which charges the students considerably... not too much and not too low. Sometimes, however, students don't mind paying very high fee for a course of few months but they think that they have done the best for their private education.

Third, students choose the course that is located not too far from their homes. The transportation means and the time usually become one package for the consideration.

Do you think that Independent English course is not a quality English course? Does it charge the students too much? Is the location far or too far from your residence? Well, everything is in your hand. If you think that Independent is the best place for you to study and improve your English, join it. Otherwise, leave it.

What are your Reasons to Study English?

People have different reasons why they study English. Some people study English because they need it for their jobs or their studies. Some others study English because they want to travel abroad, communicate with their foreign business partners, translate books and articles and others. Meanwhile some others study English for hobbies and for fun. The unclear reasons include: being forced by parents, boss, future parent-in-law, etc.

Whatever your reason to study English is, there is one most important thing to master English: practice. Yes, practice makes perfect. Strong motivation, complete collections of English books, CDs, films, dictionaries and other facilities will be useless if people don't practise English every day and every time. Practising here means reading English texts a lot, listening to English dialogues and conversations, writing lots of English sentences and paragraphs in short stories, email, facebook status, SMS and others, and speaking English with other people continuously.

As one best English course in Bogor, INDEPENDENT always tries hard to help students to master English by practising 4 elements of competence: reading, listening, writing and speaking. INDEPENDENT helps students to use all their capacities to reach their goal: ability to communicate in English. Therefore, if you study at INDEPENDENT English Course, you will be required to practise more and more. Are you ready? Contact INDEPENDENT today.

English Study Tips for Kids and Their Parents

English Study Tips for Kids and Their Parents
Exective summary about English for Children by Charmont Sodi

Kid whose parents take an active interest in their child's education will probably be much more likely to become successful language learners. This is why parents should get involved in their kids learning process.

Useful English Study Tips:

o Help your child access interactive websites on the internet especially relevant to young learners. There are tons of free and useful English websites for kids.
o Listen to English cassettes - for example music with English lyrics or storytelling.
Use English when the child is already familiar with the story. o Encourage children to read you any English stories you every day.
o Let your child teach you what they learned in class. Look at the pages in the book your child studied. o Put stickers around the house labeling objects students have recently learned. This helps to bring language alive and gives learners day-to-day exposure.
o Ask your child to copy new words ten times each. o Help your child make a 'personal dictionary'. o If parents can speak English encourage conversation when possible.
Students often personalize new words. Lilly might remember "doll", "skipping rope" while Tom remembers words like "dinosaur" or "robot".
o Foreign language learners often go through a 'silent phase' when beginning to learn a language. o Learners need to encounter language many times over a period of time before they 'know' it. The teacher will review words in the next lesson to help students remember.

Parents should make English learning as enjoyable as possible.

How to Teach a Child English One to One

By far the best approach for children for successful and fun one to one teaching is to use games and songs. If you teach using games children will love your private classes, and their parents will love you for the results you achieve. - Award your pupil 10 bonus points at the start of the game.

Time your pupil each round of a game and see if they can beat their previous time. If a young child does not finish in the required time it really upsets them and they will probably cry - and that is not the aim of the game. Watch the fun demo video on the Home English Teacher website for ideas on how to teach English to your children.
